Parent Access Training
 

Purpose of Parent Access to PowerSchool

The purpose of parent access to PowerSchool is to provide an additional means of communication about students’ academic performance to parents/guardians. It is not intended to replace other forms of communication or official student records (i.e. Progress Reports).

ParentAccess Presentation for training of new users

Parent Access at the School of the Cathedral is available to parents in Grades 3-8.

Parent Access 2010-2011: Opening October 1, 2010

1)      For Parent(s) new to Parent Access sign the disclaimer (see below) and return it to the office or to Carol White in room 5A.

2)      Parent(s) will then receive an initial user name and password.

3)      Sign into: https://archbalt.powerschool.com/public

4)      Follow the directions for changing your username and password.

5)      Follow the directions for entering the names of your students in grades 3 through 8 only. Grades 1 and 2 do not have Parent Access.

6)      Remember your user name and password as the School of the Cathedral, the Archdiocese, or Miss White will not have your new information.
