Volunteer for the
2008-2009 School Year! |
|
|
|
Our outstanding, dedicated Parents Association
consists of volunteer parents who plan a variety of cultural,
social, athletic and fundraising activities. These events provide
opportunities for the parents to fully participate and enjoy the
strong school community spirit. The Cathedral Ball, a long-standing
Baltimore tradition, is CASPA's major fundraiser. The Ball proceeds
provide vital school enhancements. |

The
Cathedral School Parents Association (CASPA) is designed to be
responsive to the needs of the School of the Cathedral and its
parent members. CASPA
is one of the most active parent-teacher associations in the
Baltimore area. When general meetings are held, at least one parent
of each family is required to attend.
CASPA
publishes a Family Handbook/Directory annually in the hope that
it will be used frequently by all members of the School community
and to further CASPA’s goal of establishing a closer bond among
its members. A list of the CASPA Board members is
included in this directory. Please feel free to call the CASPA
President, any officer of the CASPA Board, or a Committee chair
whenever there is a question, problem, or suggestion.
CASPA’s
most important function is one of fund-raising for the benefit of
the School of the Cathedral. The Cathedral Ball is CASPA’S major
fund-raiser. The proceeds from this event are used for the
improvement of the school facilities. Wish lists (suggestions) are
requested of CASPA’s general membership and the Faculty.
The CASPA Board members and the School Administration review
these wishes.
