NO child may use the CED program unless prior arrangements have been made
with the CED Director. |

All students are expected to be picked up promptly at 2:45 p.m. or
immediately after their last school activity. No child will be permitted to wait
in the Marian Foyer for rides. A child must be enrolled in CED if he or she is
to remain after school after 3 p.m. Safety of the children is a prime factor and this policy will be strictly
enforced. |

After 4:15 p.m. pick up for CED children is at Amberly Way
door only. |

Children not picked up at 2:45 p.m.
(and not enrolled in CED) will be taken to a classroom. A $5.00
charge will be made for each 15 minutes or any fraction thereof that the
children remain at school. |

Health forms are required from the State of
Maryland for all children who attend the Cathedral Extended Day Program.
These forms are not the same health forms that are submitted

Monthly Plans and Fees
Registration Fee- $25.00 per child (all children must be registered to
use the Cathedral Extended Day Program and must have all medical paperwork
on file)
5 days per week (2:45-6 p.m., or any portion thereof)= $275.00
3 days per week (2:45-6 p.m., or any portion thereof)= $170.00
Non-Monthly Plans
Drop-In Service: A limited number of spaces are available for
drop-ins, emergency drop-ins, and sports program participants provided
that the registration fee and required medical paperwork have been
submitted.
Planned Drop-In Service
(pre-arranged in writing AND pre-paid)- $15.00 per day
This service is available to those who are registered in the program,
have paid the $25 registration fee, and provide written notice and
payment at least one day in advance. Children who attend CED three
or more days per week MUST choose a monthly plan- this is NOT
a drop-in option.
Emergency Drop-In Service- $20.00 per day
In the event of a true emergency, parents must call the
Main Office (410-464-4100) as soon as possible, but no later than 2 p.m.
Payment is due at time of pick-up. This service is available only
to those who are registered in the CED program and have paid the $25
registration fee.
Sports Program Participants
Per day, 3-4 p.m.- $5.00
Per day, 3-5 p.m.- $10.00
The above fees apply ONLY to students participating in Cathedral
sports programs (soccer, basketball, or lacrosse) whose practice or game
times are after 3 p.m. AND who are registered in the CED program and have
paid the $25 registration fee. Advance written notice and payment is
required. |

Payment Procedures
*Fees remain the same for each month. The
contracted amount is due each month, regardless of school holidays, family
vacations, etc.
* Parents are required to pay the fee by the first school day of each
month. Monthly bills are NOT sent. After the 15th of the month, a bill
will be mailed, which will include the past due amount as well as a $5.00
billing fee.
* It is the responsibility of the parents to notify CED (in writing)
of withdrawal from the program or of any change in the level of attendance
that would require a fee adjustment.
* Payment of fees must remain current to ensure the child's continued
enrollment in the program. Families with bills outstanding over 30 days
will be dropped from the program. Reinstatement will depend on payment
of the overdue bill and space availability. |
