Hours of Operation

Right now, our summer hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the school year, our school is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 2:50pm.

The School of the Cathedral decides independent of a school system when school opens late, closes early, or closes all together. Closings and delays are made in consultation with the Facilities team, the Rector, and, when possible, other local independent schools.

Our primary method to communicate closings and delays is via text message and email. To sign up for text messages (parish and school combined), click here. Closings and delays will also be posted on:

• WBAL, ABC 2, Baltimore Sun, FOX45, and WJZ
• School of the Cathedral’s website homepage (there will be a large red bar across the top)
• SCMOQ Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
